sun pm. 05.16.10

*UPDATE @ 7:37pm... i recorded 30C (86F) this afternoon, which is the highest temperature of the season and the highest of 2010.

our high temperature today was a tie for the warmest of the spring summer season, at around 85F/29.5C. we also had plenty of sun, although the haze is becoming more apparent, and there was a clap or two of thunder from the mountains during the early afternoon. hold on tight for some bumpy weather starting tomorrow and lasting through wednesday. big thunderstorms are quite likely, along with some very summer-ish heat and humidity. i won't be surprised to see a couple of inches of rain (or more) during the first half of the week.

MONDAY: mix of clouds and sun, very warm and humid, with an increasing chance of thunderstorms.
