friday evening>

it's been a dry friday thus far... lots of sun, some billowing clouds over the mountains this afternoon, but no thunderstorms. the high this afternoon hit 28c/82.5f. no significant changes to the forecast as we head into the weekend. temperatures will continue to warm up, and the chance of mainly afternoon and evening thunderstorms remains with us. but again, any storms should be of the scattered variety, and fairly short-lived... so if you have outdoor plans, just make sure you're prepared for sudden changes. there are indications that a more substantial system could begin to move in by tuesday and wednesday of next week, bringing a better chance of more widespread rain, and cooler temps... stay tuned...
