sunday evening>

rays of sunshine are blasting across mcleod ganj this evening... after a day of more moderate to heavy rains. the official report from just above the main temple is 1.9" /4.8cm, with 1.6" of that falling during the mid-afternoon. the high temp reported at the weathergeek office in upper mcleod ganj was very near 20C /68F.

believe it or not, we are not yet to the middle of monsoon season. on average, the half-way point occurs around the 6th of august. so... we're just getting into the thick of it now. it is likely that we'll be able to enjoy a few periods of sunshine during the next couple of days, along with occasional moderate to heavy showers. but those oh-so-trustworthy computer models are still aggressive with the intense rainfall potential as we approach the end of the week. good luck drying that laundry, folks...
