we've had very little sun across the area today, but also very little rain. i only recorded about 0.05" (1mm), from scattered light showers during the morning and early afternoon hours. the high temp today has been 21C/70F.
a very pleasant evening is in progress... with a bit of sun likely to appear around sunset. the satellite pics show all of the significant rain and storm action well to our south across haryana, the delhi NCR and uttar pradesh. we may still see some development of showers and storms in our area tonight, with those rain chances remaining in the forecast through the weekend into early next week. as has been the case this past week... we will get periods of nice sunshine, periods of fog and clouds, along with a few hours of rain, as the monsoon tries to decide whether it is giving up for this year... or not. although it is a bit early to be sure... there are some indications that we could see a substantial retreat of monsoon moisture around the middle of next week...
