saturday evening>

wow... the weather today has been changing from one minute to the next. right now (530pm) it is cloudy and foggy with a shower in progress, but just 20 minutes ago there was some sunshine. i had a very heavy shower during the mid-afternoon that dumped exactly 1 inch (2.5cm) of rain at my house in upper mcleod ganj... while my observers near the temple only recorded 0.10" (2mm)! these are the kinds of wild swings we get in this convective/showery pattern. today's high temp, by the way, was 21C/70F at the wxgeek office.

i have nothing new to report this evening, in terms of the forecast for the next several days. although there are some subtle indications of a weakening monsoon pattern, the deep tropical moisture is not going to dramatically decrease in the near future... and that will keep us in this showery pattern, with the sun trying to peek out between clouds and fog on occasion. heavy downpours will be possible nearly anytime of the day or night, with best chances during the afternoon hours. we may see a slight warm-up, but temps will have a hard time getting above the lower 20sC (low 70sF)...

SATURDAY NIGHT: occasional showers, and possibly a thundershower. otherwise partly to mostly cloudy skies.
low: 16C (62F)

SUNDAY: peeks of sun between clouds and fog. a few showers are still likely, mainly in the afternoon and evening.
high: 22C (71F)

MONDAY: a few periods of fog, otherwise partly sunny skies. good chance of a shower or two.
high: 22C (72F)

TUESDAY: a mix of sun, clouds and fog, with a few showers around.
high: 23C (73F)

WEDNESDAY: a good amount of sunshine, but still some clouds and fog. chance of a shower or two.
high: 23C (74F)

THURSDAY: no big changes... some sun, some fog, lots of clouds, with a few showers around.
high: 23C (74F)
