smooth sailing... (pm.8.feb.11)>

other than a couple of puffy cumulus clouds over the mountains, skies are mostly clear this evening.  sunshine today boosted our temp to a high of 52F (11C)... although unless you were in direct sunlight, it was quite chilly.

it looks we are in for at least a couple of days of quiet weather... with a good amount of sun, and some modest warming.  there is another storm system on the horizon however, which will bring an increase in clouds, wind and rain chances as we approach the end of the week.  it seems the timing of stormy weather has been very bad during the last several weeks... always appearing on the weekends.  this next system doesn't look as vicious as the previous one, but stay tuned for updates as it comes together...

WEDNESDAY: partly to mostly sunny skies.
high: 12C (53F)

THURSDAY: increasing clouds with a slight chance of a late PM sprinkle or two.
high: 13C (55F)

FRIDAY: a mix of clouds and sun, with a few random, light showers possible.
high: 13C (55F)

SATURDAY: mostly cloudy and breezy, with a good chance of a few showers.
high: 12C (54F)

SUNDAY: mostly cloudy and windy, with a few showers and thunderstorms likely.
high: 12C (53F)
