weekend gloom... (am.19.feb.11)>

waking up to cloudy skies and 43F (6C) this morning.  i'm having a hard time remembering the last time we had nice sunny weather on the weekend.  the satellite pics are showing an upper-level disturbance moving through northern pakistan at the moment... and although it is much weaker than our previous system, it hasn't had trouble gathering the clouds together.

the computer models aren't coming up with much in the way of significant rainfall as this system passes through, but between now and sunday night, be aware of a good chance of a few mostly light showers.  a random thundershower is possible as well.  another round of snow is likely in the mountains, but instead of accumulations in FEET, it will be mostly accumulations in INCHES this time.  the clouds will put a stop to our recent gradual warm-up today and tomorrow... but some milder temps are on the way next week, along with yet another chance of showers by wednesday...

SATURDAY: mostly cloudy skies with perhaps a few glimpses of sun.  good chance of a few sprinkles and light showers developing.
high: 10C (50F)

SATURDAY NIGHT: a few showers likely, with a thundershower possible.  otherwise mostly cloudy.
low: 5C (41F)

SUNDAY: mostly cloudy skies with occasional showers and possible thundershowers.
high: 9C (49F)

MONDAY: a mix of clouds and sun.  milder.
high: 12C (53F)

TUESDAY: partly cloudy and warming up a bit more...
high: 13C (55F)

WEDNESDAY: clouds thicken again, with a good chance of rain showers.
high: 13C (55F)
