approaching perfection?... (am.14.mar.11)>

it is a super-mild 56.5F (13.6C) before sunrise this morning... with clear skies.  it wasn't so long ago that we couldn't even get near 13C for a high temp!

nearly perfect spring-time weather is on the way for the next few days... good timing for the teachings today and tomorrow at the main temple.  i keep waiting for surprises which could knock our warming trend off track, but so far, things are progressing as expected.  the big ridge of high pressure from the arabian sea into the western half of india will peak in strength around thursday... that means we will continue to see gradually warmer temps all week, with virtually no chance of any rainfall.  a few streams of high clouds could drift through at times... otherwise it looks like plenty of sunshine ahead.

massive snowmelt is going to be occurring up the mountain this week... getting up to triund will be interesting, as the rhododendrons will be coming out in full force very soon.
