clouds are back... (am.28.mar.11)>

for the first time in about nine days, we have mostly cloudy skies during the early morning hours.  the temperature stands at a very mild 63.7F (17.6C).

the upper-level disturbance we've been talking about recently is now centered over northwest pakistan, with a rather broad area of mainly mid- and high clouds associated with it.  this isn't a particularly strong system, and it lacks good low-level moisture to work with... but still, it may stir up some scattered showers and thundershowers during the next 2-3 days as it works its way slowly to the east.  although any rainfall will be generally light and short-lived, this system is putting an end to our long string of sunny mornings.

the rest of the week looks a bit unsettled as well... with a mix of clouds and sun, along with a slight chance of an occasional thundershower.  temperatures, however, should remain comfortably warm... depending on the amount of sunshine we can muster up.

MONDAY: mostly cloudy this morning.  a mix of clouds and sun during the afternoon.  one or two showers or thundershowers are possible.
high: 24C (75F)

MONDAY NIGHT: partly cloudy, with a chance of a period of thundershowers.
low: 17C (63F)

TUESDAY: partly to mostly cloudy skies, with a continuing chance of a few showers or a thunderstorm.
high: 24C (75F)

WEDNESDAY: risk of showers or thundershowers remains... otherwise partly cloudy.
high: 23C (74F)

THURSDAY: partly cloudy skies.
high: 23C (74F)

FRIDAY: a mix of clouds and sun, with a slight chance of a thundershower.
high: 24C (75F)
