easy going... (am.21.mar.11)>

we have mostly clear skies as the eastern sky brightens this morning, with a temp of 53.2F (11.8C).  these early morning temperatures the last two days have been 9-10F (4-5C) cooler than they were during much of last week.

i'm not seeing any weather dramas, either good or bad, during the coming several days.  the pattern in the upper atmosphere is generally quiet, with weak flow, and only a few very minor wiggles from the middle east into south asia.  as usual during this time of year, an occasional small pool of cold air aloft could create enough instability to stir up mountain clouds and a brief PM shower (perhaps wednesday being the best day for that), otherwise rain chances will be very small.

temperatures will warm up slowly and gradually between now and the end of the week, but it should remain several degrees cooler than it was during the two or three days of "early summer" we enjoyed last week.
