pleasantly warm... (am.23.mar.11)>

we have almost totally clear skies at dawn, and a relatively mild temperature of 58.1F (14.5C) to start the day.  at this hour, the satellite photos are like a blank page... absolutely no clouds showing up anywhere.

no significant changes in the weather pattern are set to occur for the next few days.  sunshine will dominate, although afternoon heating, combined with slightly cooler air in the upper atmosphere will stir up the normal cumulus clouds over the mountains... one or two of which could develop enough to produce a brief shower up there.  temperatures will continue their very gradual warming trend which has been going on ever since our big thunderstorm cooled things off last saturday night.

there are subtle indications of a stronger disturbance aloft which may increase our rain chances over the weekend, but it's not looking all that impressive right now.  at this point, i would say shower and thunderstorm chances in mcleod ganj are barely 50/50 for late saturday into sunday...
