weather on par... (pm.20.mar.11)>

skies are partly cloudy early this evening... we had a beautiful sunny morning, but then towering cumulus clouds developed quickly over the mountains during the noon hour.  as far as i know, any shower activity remained up the mountain, above mcleod ganj.  it was one of those days when it was very balmy in the sunshine, but kinda cool in the shade.. my high temp at the top of mcleod ganj was 66.4F (19.1C).

there is still some very cold air aloft, which was responsible for the heavy cloud build-up over the mountains this afternoon... but it will be warming ever so gradually up there during the next few days, and that should reduce the instability factor... giving us a greater percentage of blue skies.  here at the surface (where we all live), temps will also be slowly warming, but at this stage, i don't expect us to get into the "summer-zone" that we reached last week.  still, it will be pleasantly warm during the day, and comfortably cool at night for much of the coming week, with very small chances of any significant rainfall.
