renegade shower... (pm.25.sep.11)>

we finally got our renegade shower (with thunder) this evening, if only for a few minutes.  i just arrived home to find 0.21" (5mm) in the rain gauge, but already, skies are clearing and the stars are trying to come out.  today's high temp was 72.5F (22.5C), with alternating sun and clouds throughout the day.

isolated showers and thundershowers have been occurring in the mountains all week, but still we managed to get four full days without a drop of rain here in mcleod.  this evening we got to catch a bit of the action.  those shower chances will remain, but are quite small for any specific place on a given day.  expect more of the same mix of sun, clouds, and patches of late afternoon/evening fog as we enter the final days of the month.  our average daily humidity is now tolerable... sufficient for drying clothes... as long as you get an early start!

temperatures have been very uniform, with not much variability anticipated in the near term...
