just fine... (am.19.oct.11)>

my outdoor humidity reading is the lowest of the season this morning at 38%, and we have 100% clear skies at sunrise.  the overnight low temperature has been a very mild 61.5F (16.4C).

we remain in the midst of a string of very beautiful days... featuring lots of sunshine, lower humidity, and pleasantly mild temperatures.  but already, just less than a month after the monsoon rains fizzled out, there is plenty of talk around town about water problems beginning to develop.  other than a couple of showers at the very beginning of october, the month has been almost totally dry.

there is a changing weather pattern expected as we approach the weeked, however, and that may bring us at least some scattered shower action.  don't expect much out of it though... i'd be surprised if we can get anything more than about a 1/4" - 1/3" (6-8mm).  more likely, this system will allow temperatures to drop another notch, and get us closer to normal for this time of year.
