carrying on... (am.14.mar.12)>

We have mostly clear skies at sunrise this morning, and I've recorded an overnight low temp of 46.4F (8.0C).  There has been no rainfall since our total of 1.04" (2.6cm) yesterday... most of which occurred during the thunderstorms during the wee hours of the morning.

Our atmosphere and its ever-changing moods will be switching back into warming mode during the next several days.  We should see a good amount of sunshine for the remainder of the week... but keep in mind that little pockets of mountain instability could stir up some clouds and a random shower or thundershower during the afternoons.  I think the vast majority of that action should remain well above us, however.

Real pre-summer heat is going to be building on the plains between now and Sunday, with temperatures likely to exceed 30C (86F) in places like Chandigarh, Delhi, Agra and Amritsar.  Even here, we may have a shot at our first 21C (70F) temp of the season over the weekend, barring any unforeseen Himalayan monkey-wrenches thrown into the mix!
