Our "Favorite Month" poll closed this morning, and I am not surprised about certain results, and quite surprised about others. The final results are on the right side of the main page, just below the podcast.
October was the hands-down winner... and I'm not really surprised about that. Of all the months of the year, it tends to average out with the best combination of sunshine, comfortably cool temperatures, and less seasonal tourist mahem.
What I am a bit shocked to discover is that the deep winter months of December, January and February score way, way, way above the June to September period. I realize that the monsoon season is not the most popular time of year around these parts... but the fact that both July and August scored ZERO votes was a stunner.
Thanks to those of you Mcleod Ganj veterans who voted. I'm sure it was very helpful for others who have only visited on a short-term basis, or who are trying to make future plans.
