drama-free... (pm.09.oct.12)>

Tuesday's stats:

Early morning low temp: 61.2F (16.2C)
Afternoon high temp: 71.8F (22.1C)
Rainfall: none

For the fourth straight day in a row, there has been just enough instability during the afternoon to trigger isolated thundershower activity over the mountains.  Today, I heard just one clap of thunder at around 3:20pm, but it appears that any rainfall has again remained above Mcleod Ganj.  The collapsing thunderheads are quite beautiful -- to our north and east this evening.

There is no appreciable shift in weather patterns expected during the coming several days.  Weak low pressure aloft will continue to provide a bit of instability during the afternoon hours, which will keep the mention of stray PM thundershowers in the forecast... otherwise it looks like smooth sailing.  The autumn sunshine has been very pleasant, and we should continue to see plenty of that, at least during the morning hours.

Temperatures have been steady for the past several days, but I still think we should see a slight drop as we head into the weekend.  Just to keep it all in perspective.... this is the kind of weather we all dream about during the middle of winter, or during the monsoon months.!!
