disturbance to exit... (am.18.dec.12)>

It is partly cloudy early this morning, after a night of very gusty winds -- especially between about 2:00 and 5:00am.  I am not aware of any rainfall (the rain gauge is dry), but there could have been a couple of sprinkles at some point.  My overnight low temp was a mild 47.8F (8.8C).

Our latest disturbance is still overhead, but is moving quickly off to the east.  This weak system hasn't been able to tap into any appreciable moisture, so I think our chances of any rain showers today are pretty slight.  We'll still have to watch for some potential instability developing during the next few hours, but with humidity hovering around 40-45%, I'm not very excited about the prospects of rain.

We're now on the brink of an extended period of dry and mild weather which should last into the weekend!

TUESDAY:
a mix of sunshine and some clouds.  only a slight chance of a shower.
