still unsettled... (am.03.apr.13)>

*Update @ 3:47pm... Finally there has been some development just to our west.  There is thunder overhead at the moment, but no rain here at my location... yet.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
We have muted sunshine through high clouds early this morning, with other thicker patches of cloudiness around the area as well.  My overnight low is equal to the current temp of 57.0F (13.9C), and the humidity is 39%.  There may have been a few sprinkles last night, but there is nothing measurable in my rain gauge.

A disorganized and strung-out upper-level disturbance continues to affect much of northern India, and will do so through at least this evening.  So far, the atmosphere has remained fairly dry, and shower/thundershower activity has been of a very scattered variety -- only producing minor amounts of rainfall in a few areas.  We'll see an alternation between clouds and sun again today, along with at least a 50-50 chance of some thundershower development.  Temperatures will be cooling down a few degrees as well, as some of that colder air aloft gets temporarily brought down to the surface.

Drier air throughout all layers of the atmosphere is expected to sweep in tomorrow (Thu), and remain with us through the weekend.  There will still be the off-chance of a PM thundershower over the mountains, but it looks like we'll see plenty of sunshine along with a rather fast and dramatic rebound in temperatures.  The warmest weather of the year still appears to be on the way for the very first part of next week.
